Fauquier County

  • of route 651 Sumerduck Road Phelps Wildlife Management area...daytime is possible but lots of people use the parking areas for river swimming access especially by Kelly's Ford bridge...smaller parking areas good for late night fun...law enforcement does check but are mostly concerned with swimmers trashing the river during the day (which has been a huge problem at main river access areas) a favorite is small cul-de-sac parking area on the right just past Kelly's Ford bridge going east
