Our Dance Blasts are held in the Quad Cities and Cedar Rapids areas. Play Nights are in Cedar Rapids as are many of our special functions. We always take June off from hosting Dance Blasts as there are so many things to do outdoors for our members as well as for us.

During July and August of 2011, we will be hosting Camping Dance Blast Socials which are held in a Private Camp Ground close to Cedar Rapids. L'Sota Camp outs are clothing optional events. L'Sota's Dance Blast Socials during the fall and winter months are all held in an up scale Motel/Hotel setting, the Ballroom as well as the Hospitality and GS are totally private and secure for L'Sota members only. The professional DJ's will be playing your favorite dance hits from the 60's-70's-80's-90's and current hits from 8:00 pm - 11:00 pm. You'll enjoy L'Sota's Spoon Dance, Ladies Only Dance, and of course the Ladies Contests ranging from the sexiest bush to the best "banana blow job." You won't want to miss all the sexsational fun.
L'Sota Dance Blast Social locations include; Large private, secure and discreet ballroom with dance floor. The Dance Blasts are NO Smoking in the Ballroom. L'Sota was established in 1989 as a premiere true members only "swing club." Providing a discreet, clean, safe and secure swing club setting for all of it's members in Iowa and the surrounding states. L'Sota's membership has been and continues to be open to all adult couples and single females. Single males are now able to join L'Sota as a sponsored single males on a very limited basis.
Where is L'Sota located
L'Sota hosts Dance Blast Socials in the Quad Cities area as well as in the Cedar Rapids, Iowa area. Not just "any" location is acceptable to L'Sota. Many factors are carefully taken into consideration before locations are chosen.
Dance Blast Socials Vs. Play Nights
L'Sota hosts three totally different venues. The Dance Blasts Socials, Play Nights as well as Camping Dance Blast Socials. The difference; Dance Blasts are held in an up scale motel/hotel complete with Ballroom, cash bar. After the dance the Hospitality and Group suits with large private Hot Tub opens for continuing party enjoyment. This is a social setting where couples and single females dance, mingle and get to know each other is held after which the party continues.
Play Nights is held in one room of a motel. Play Nights is show up get naked and play. No dance, not much socialization just playing and hedonistic enjoyment.

At all L'Sota events you will be warmly welcomed and immediate feel like you've been a long time member of the group.
Membership
Memberships to L'Sota are 49.95 per couple per year, 25.00 per yr. single female memberships and a very limited number of sponsored single male memberships per year. All new memberships include your required first time attending pre-dance orientation immediately before the function, plus your first L'Sota function. Also included is huge discounts on your sleeping room (optional) Plus, admission to the Hospitality and Group suites after the dance. After your first function, subsequent Dance Blast socials are only 40.00-50.00 per couple, and 20.00-25.00 per single female, 20.00-25.00 per sponsored single males. Cost to attend a Dance Blast depends upon the function.
Ages
As with most clubs, the average age at L'Sota is 35ish. We do have a few members in their 20's as well as many couples in their 40's-50's and well into their 60's. A great cross mix of ages.
